Our vacation continued on Monday, even though it technically was our first day of school. Jenna, Anne, and I didn't have class until 3:45, so we decided to take a little trip to the Colosseum... why not? We were following the map to get there, and suddenly looked up and it was right there! So cool. The whole street leading up to it is ancient ruins, just there in the center of Rome. We had our first Philosophy of Art and Beauty class at John Cabot, and then we went home and had our first roommate dinner - salad, chicken, and pasta - we're working on expanding our horizons..
