That night, an ND grad who is in Rome took us on a tour of several of the popular sites in Rome since we felt a little pathetic for having been in Rome for a week and seen barely anything but Trastevere. We saw the Spanish Steps,
the Trevi Fountain,
Piazza Navona,
the Pantheon, and we stopped at Giolitti's for gelato (it's supposedly the best in Rome.. so good!). Rome is great because it's so alive at night - people don't even start to go to dinner until 8ish, so everything is open and people are always outside walking around until late.. love that!
