Buongiorno! I have fresh croissants for you!

Sunday, we were woken up to someone banging on the door of a hostel, and were a little worried we were going to have to evacuate or something given the conditions in the town. Luckily, it was just Felipo, the hostel owner, yelling over and over, "Buongiorno! I have fresh croissants for you!" to every room in the hostel. We had our croissants, and then walked to Amalfi for a couple more hours on the beach before we had to take the bus back to Salerno. After a long train ride, we were SO happy to be back in Rome, where everything was familiar and we actually felt at home! We decided we had been in Rome long enough for it to be acceptable to eat McDonald's, so we stopped there on the way home for dinner. I had a mozzarillo, which was basically a cheeseburger with mozzarella on it... it was pretty good for being from McDonald's! After a long day of travelling, we were so happy to get back home to Gianicolo.
