We left JFK on Tuesday night, landed in Paris after a 7 hour flight, and then had a 2 hour flight to Rome and made it our room in the Gianicolo Residence in Trastevere by noon on Wednesday!
Funny story from the flight: We flew Air France and all the flight attendants had really thick French accents, so when the flight attendant came to offer us dinner, she said we could choose between beef and quiche (I thought). So I asked for the quiche, and was a little surprised when I opened it and it was actually FISH. Then, I realized that she had actually said beef and FEESH in her accent and thought I was a completely rude American for imitating her accent and asking for "the feeesh." Oops!
